There is no Frigate like a Book - Emily Dickinson

EnglishCaddy began as a solution to a problem for students that were assigned to work extra hours on their English in a language resource center that because of a burglary, had little to no resources left. EnglishCaddy is a centralized collection of the diverse and plentiful English language resources available on the internet. EnglishCaddy is by no means complete and will continue to grow and change with the advancement of and availability of new technologies.

Why the name EnglishCaddy?

Well, just as a golf caddy provides materials, advice and offers information about the layout of the course to the golfer, EnglishCaddy provides advice, materials and direction to the independent English learner.

Remember It is the golfer’s job to play and win the game, while the caddy’s job is to offer assistance and knowledge as to the layout of the overall terrain!

Mission Statement

EnglishCaddy is dedicated to the education of the 'whole' student by engaging and promoting whole brain thinking through the use of wide variety of internet and multi-media resources available today.  To this end it is further our mission to seek out, evaluate and make available these resources to all those looking to improve their knowledge of the English language and their exposure to the culture surrounding the language.
